Specialties
Adam earned his undergraduate business & economics degree from Elizabethtown College.
After graduating college a semester early in December of 2017, Adam officially became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in November of 2019 after passing the exam and qualifying for enough hours of running a financial services practice. Overall, this is a competitive advantage for Adam’s clients as he is one of the 6.2% of CFP® professionals who are under the age of 30. The CFP® certification is recognized as the highest standard in personal financial planning. Less than 25% of practicing financial advisors in the industry claim this distinction. In addition, Adam has completed multiple designations through the American College of Financial Services: Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®), Chartered Special Needs Consultant® (ChSNC®), and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) Adam has been recognized as one of the youngest professionals to ever complete each of these designations, allowing him to grow alongside his clients over time while providing the highest level of expertise with more complex planning scenarios. Adam also holds his Certification For Long-Term Care (CLTC®). This was completed in honor of his grandmother, Pat, who had battled Parkinson’s and Dementia at the end of her life and had passed away in 2019. Her situation is one of the primary reasons Adam chose financial planning as a career, and is also why long term care is a prominent discussion between Adam and his clients. Community Involvement Adam is born and raised in the York community and returned to York County to reside. The York community and serving others is an integral part of Adam’s life. Adam is the Vice Chair for Children’s Aid Society, Assistant Treasurer for the Margaret E. Moul Home, Board Member for York Country Estate Planning Council, Board Member of the Wellspan York Hospital Auxiliary and Board Member of Leadership York. For Leadership York, he spends most of the time working with the Future Leaders of York program, which Adam happened to graduate from in 2013 while in high school. He also is a member of the Downtown Rotary Club of York, PA. Adam also tries to volunteer with Junior Achievement via their REAL Life programs, providing financial literacy seminars to high school Juniors across South-Central PA. Outside of York, Adam is a member of Elizabethtown College’s Alumni Council. He is also a member of the Planned Giving Council for Hospice & Community Care. (Should any of these organizations be explained more / logos brought in or something?) Personal Life Outside of Work In his free time, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife, Corey, and their rescued dog, Bodie. Adam got married in June of 2023 and they rescued Bodie in November of 2023. Time at home includes cooking, playing board games, and watching sports. When not at home, you can probably find him at an Orioles game, going to concerts, or hanging out with his family on the family farm. Adam loves to travel in general, but road trips across the United States is probably his favorite, as he has completed two cross-country road trips, one for 14 days in 2015 and another in 2018 for 35 days. He loves visiting National Parks, new cities, and reconnecting with friends and clients who live throughout the U.S. In prior years, he reignited his passion for running, as he completed a half marathon in October 2021, the York Marathon in May 2019, and the Steamtown Marathon in Scranton, PA in October 2019 with a personal best time of 3:20:46. Adam has plans to get back into marathoning sooner rather than later with hopes of qualifying for the Boston Marathon in the future.
