My philosophy is simple: Money should serve a meaningful, well-lived life.
The work I do is not about chasing returns or predicting markets; it’s about helping people live fuller, richer, more intentional lives. I strive to seek balance, reduce burdens where I can and leave the world better than I found it. My practice is built around two core commitments: technical excellence and an elevated client experience. I’m deeply analytical and data-driven in my approach to market, regulatory, and tax developments. I utilize personal research and extensive firm resources to inform my recommendations. Every ideal client receives an elevated experience that begins with comprehensive planning, coordination with CPAs and attorneys, proactive outreach, and an ongoing connection to help make complex decisions feel manageable. I believe optimal financial outcomes matter but that optimal living matters more. My best clients are well-resourced families and individuals who appreciate a delegated, collaborative relationship with their wealth management team. I work especially well with clients in the sciences and arts, professionals approaching retirement, seniors navigating life beyond accumulation or those supporting aging parents. These relationships thrive when we commit to a shared purpose: creating a financial strategy that enriches lives, not just account balances. I’m fortunate to work alongside my branch office administrator, Amy Zaremba, who joined the team in 2024 and is a vital part of our practice. Equal parts kind, organized and unstoppable, Amy’s proactive care ensures the branch runs smoothly and clients feel supported through all phases of life. I grew up in Vancouver, Washington, and now live in North Carolina with my best friend and wife, Chelsea, our three children, two rotund cats and a bunny. Outside the office, I enjoy singing, reading high fantasy and classic literature, hiking, fishing, traveling and learning anything new I can get my hands on. Curiosity is a lifelong companion. I am a former two-time Kiwanis International chapter president and continue to support local food banks, libraries and school music programs.
