Hello, I'm Brian Gornik.
My journey to becoming a State Farm Agent wasn't a traditional one, but it’s a story that defines how I serve my clients every day. Before opening my agency on January 1, 2014, I spent my career helping disadvantaged communities, first in inner-city Philadelphia and later near Buenos Aires, Argentina. Living in places where financial tools were either unavailable or deeply misunderstood gave me a powerful perspective. I saw firsthand how crucial sound financial planning and proper insurance coverage are for creating stability and peace of mind for families. When I entered this field, I knew I wanted to do things differently. My goal isn't just to sell products, but to integrate my passion for helping people with the practicalities of business. I believe financial decisions are life decisions, and they can be confusing. That’s why I take an educational approach. We'll sit down together, and I'll take the time to listen, ask questions, and explain your options clearly. My role is to empower you with the understanding you need to make informed, confident choices for yourself and your family. To ensure I provide the best guidance, I’ve earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations, in addition to my degrees from Grace College and Grace Theological Seminary. I am licensed for Property & Casualty, Life & Health insurance, and financial services across Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. When I’m not in the office, my life is full. My family is super important to me, and as a father of four, I'm about to become the proud dad of three Purdue University engineering students! I enjoy staying active as a recreational runner and hiker and am actively involved in my church community. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you plan for your future.
