Charles J.

Williams, Jr. is a seasoned Edward Jones Financial Advisor, a position he has held since 2018. He excels in people-focused, visionary leadership, consistently helping clients achieve their financial goals. In addition to his financial expertise, Charles has a robust background in ministry and education. From February 1994 to December 2018, he was a Southern Baptist Pastor, where he significantly contributed to church growth through discipleship, community outreach, and dynamic ministry programs. Charles also served as an adjunct professor of Christian Studies at Charleston Southern University and an adjunct professor of Theology at Liberty University, where he empowered students with academic knowledge and practical skills. His diverse professional background includes roles as a teacher with Charleston County School District and as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy. Charles’ extensive leadership and supervision skills is further enriched by his education, including an Ed.D. from Walden University, an M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a B.S. in Business Administration from The Citadel. He holds various certifications and is an active member of several professional and religious organizations, contributing to both his professional and community engagements. Dr. Williams has shared his life journey with his wife, Carla, whom he has been married to since May 1985. Together, they have four children and six grandchildren.
