I love what I do! Helping people is something I've always enjoyed.
Planning and numbers are right up there with it. After spending 23 years in Corporate America accounting/finance, I have to feel I'm well suited for this job. The Clients I Best Serve My typical client is the serious investor who is looking for a partner to help them navigate through major life changes such as job changes, retirement, marriage or divorce, planning an efficient estate transfer or receiving an inheritance. No two cases are the same, but our goal is to make the complex easily understood. How I Partner with My Clients I take my time to get to know my clients on a deep level before providing any recommendations. From the very start and without exception, it is always about each individual and what they want to achieve. I meet them where they are and on their own terms – all while keeping them focused on what is most important to them. On a personal note, my wife, Laura, and I have been married since 1990 and have one daughter, Rachel, who is a chemical engineer and graduate of Oklahoma University. I began working in this industry in 2010. Most of my career has been in the DFW area or San Angelo, TX, where we're from. My community volunteer activities are with Journey to Dream, the Alzheimer's Association and Carter Bloodcare Center. My branch office administrator, Kelly McSweeney, has lived in the DFW area her entire life. Her first and only job had been with Starbucks where she worked for 15 years. While working there full time, she was able to graduate from Arizona State with a degree in psychology. When she is not working, she enjoys country dancing as well as teaching a beginner's two-step and west coast swing class. She also loves taking her dog, Meeka, to the dog park and binge watching Netflix shows with her boyfriend. Kelly and I provide highly personalized service. All aspects of our business are aligned to help better understand and meet our clients' unique goals and needs. Give us a try. You'll be glad you did.
