Christopher Chapa joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2017.
He is excited to help people make the smart financial decisions essential to long-term financial security. Christopher has a Bachelor’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, a Master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, and a Graduate Certificate in Charitable Financial Planning. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and life and health insurance licenses in all 50 states. He also has a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®) designations. Understanding that most people's most significant obstacle to financial security is their behavior, Christopher serves as a financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Christopher will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. Active in his community, Christopher is a member of Watermark Community Church and volunteers with the United Way of Tarrant County to assist with free tax preparation.
