My Passion for investing started at the age of 18.
My grandfather had a nickname, "EGGHEAD" that I gave him when I was about 7 years old. I learned from my Aunt that there was a company by the name of EGGHEAD. So, I called Stifel and bought 1 share of EGGHEAD stock. I had to go through several people to explain why I only wanted one share. I framed that stock certificate and presented it to my grandfather for Christmas. He proudly collected that penny dividend until the company eventually went out of business. I still to this day have the certificate and have it displayed in my office. My grandfather and parents were both instrumental in teaching me the value of saving early in my life. Having such a caring circle of influence shaped how I work with my clients today. When I graduated college, I worked in the banking industry for over 25 years. I have always loved working with people, but I knew my true passion was to help people be good stewards of their finances and live a long, happy and comfortable life. In 2010, a friend, who was like a second mother to me, decided to retire from Edward Jones. She turned her business and clients over to me after serving them for more than 30 years. Her clients had become lifelong friends. She wanted to be sure that she hand-picked her replacement and that her clients would be taken care of with the same care, commitment and respect she had shown them all those years. I am so honored to continue her legacy! In addition to myself, my branch team consists of my branch office administrator, Debra Hoffmann, and a team of professionals at our home office. Together, we use an established process to organize your finances and keep things simple; build a roadmap for attaining your goals; protect your future with insurance; and transfer your investments to the next generation in the most tax efficient way. Please call my office if you would like to schedule a complimentary meeting to discuss how we can help you achieve your financial goals.
