and the story:Dan tells a story about how he was speaking with his mother about how she would manage her finances since his father had just passed. Did she have life insurance for herself? Was the house paid off? Did she have any debt? Then frankly asked her how much money they had saved. After his conversation with her, he realized that his own family did not have a retirement plan in place. He found that he did not know what questions to ask. He set off researching how a family could retire comfortable. This resulted in his studying at the American College of Financial Services. How many people knew what he considered “secrets to retirement”? This started his plan to help as many people as possible create a plan for their retirement.
