I co-founded Stalt Financial with a clear vision: to provide client-focused, fiduciary financial planning and investment management.
After years of working in sales-driven, product-based environments, I realized my clients deserved better. Stalt was formed to be a firm where every decision is guided by what’s best for the client—not commissions. At its core, the team at Stalt is committed to transparency, integrity, and long-term financial well-being. I attended Albion College where I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Management and was a four-year member of the Albion baseball team. I continued my education at the University of Notre Dame where I obtained a Master’s Degree in Accounting. I worked in public accounting and internal audit roles for six-plus years before my passion for helping people led me to the field of personal finance. My experience with business owners inspired me to obtain the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation to ensure owners plan for and execute the transition from their business to their eventual retirement on their own terms. I live in Rochester Hills, MI with my wife, Jenna, sons, Brooks and Nolan, and our dog, Eddie. I enjoy getting outdoors whenever possible, playing the drums, and all things Detroit sports.
