About Me

Darby Affeldt, DVM, RICP, CPFA earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University.

She moved to Seattle, built a relief veterinary career, founded and operated a new construction company for 12 years and successfully exited a large mixed animal practice. In 2009, she turned towards bringing her deep passion for practice and business ownership and financial literacy to support success in others. Today she lives back in her home state of Colorado. Darby is an Investment Advisor and Registered Representative, works fiercely product neutrally with insurances in multiple states. She works with North Star Resource Group, offering a variety of financial services, specializing in financial planning and asset management.
