The discipline, commitment, and service-oriented mindset he cultivated during his military service continue to guide his approach to client relationships today, prioritizing trust, reliability, and dedicated support. A Charleston native, Darryl earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of Charleston, where he remains actively involved as a member of the Board of Trustees, serving as Vice Chair of the Finance Committee and on other key committees. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 66, and 24 licenses, along with Life, Health, Disability, Accident, and Long-Term Care insurance licenses. Committed to lifelong learning and excellence, Darryl has earned the prestigious Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®), and Certification in Long-Term Care® (CLTC®) designations. These advanced credentials underscore his expertise in retirement income planning, wealth protection, and long-term care strategies, helping clients confidently navigate life’s financial transitions. Outside the office, Darryl enjoys playing chess, relaxing with a good book at the beach, and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, still holding out hope for that elusive Super Bowl win.
