Doug Frye is a Fiduciary Advisor, Founder & Wealth Strategist of Spinnaker Financial, a Wealth Strategy firm established in 2002.
Doug has helped clients across the nation in various areas of planning, including Retirement, Minimizing Taxes, Mortgage Planning, Real Estate Investment, Debt Reduction, preservation of income, and protecting wealth. Doug holds a BA in Economics from UNC-Charlotte, a Series 65 Securities License, and a Financial Fiduciary. Doug is also a Retirement Income Certified Professional™ (RICP) and is working toward his Wealth Management Certified Professional (WMCP) designation. Doug and his wife, Barbara reside in Hickory and have two adult children. They are avid travelers. Doug is active in Prison Ministry with Forgiven Ministry. They bring inmates and their children today for a day-long event of family restoration, reconciliation, and love. Doug also leads a local group of Faith-Driven Entrepreneurs. This worldwide ministry teaches business owners of faith how to integrate Kingdom building directly into their business model.
