Eric Altenburg

I am the President and Founder of Altenburg Asset Advisors, LLC, and I have been delivering financial advice, education, and services since 1994.

My commitment to strong principles and a dedicated work ethic was deeply influenced by my upbringing and further developed during my service in the United States Submarine Force. I concluded my military career as a Chief Petty Officer (E-7) with a medical discharge in November 1993, carrying with me a lasting appreciation for hard work, personal ethics, honesty, integrity, and the importance of building enduring relationships. Colleagues and clients often describe me as a thoughtful, deliberate, and hands-on professional who demonstrates genuine care for everyone I serve. I am committed to treating my clients like family—not only by fostering strong connections and acting in their best interests, but also by consistently striving to offer the highest standard of professional, unbiased advice. To that end, I earned my Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 2002 and my Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 2003 from The American College. I later obtained the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation in 2013 and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation in 2015. Outside of my professional responsibilities, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. My hobbies include fly fishing, golf, participating in NHRA small tire drag racing, and enjoying activities with my grandchildren. My wife, Dolores, and I have been married since October 2000; we are the proud parents of two children and grandparents to Joseph, Theresa, Erik, and Jazmine.
