Frankie Adkins

My wife, Julie, and I moved to the mountains of Asheville, NC, in 2002 to escape the congestion of Atlanta and with dreams of raising a family.

Nearly two decades later, we love it here as much as when we first arrived. We’ve been fortunate to raise two very talented kids: our daughter, Naomi, is a graphic design student at Meredith College class of 2025. Our son, Ian, is a multitalented kid who enjoys Ultimate Frisbee, chess and learning languages. He is preparing to spend a year abroad in South Korea through a Rotary Youth Exchange Program for the 2024/2025 school year. I've been an avid runner and was a cofounder of the local running club, Asheville Running Collective. I am also a member of the downtown Asheville Rotary Club and am passionate about giving back to my community. In my current role as District Youth Exchange Chair, I am involved in coordinating both inbound and outbound student exchanges with countries all over the world. My wife, Julie, has a very successful career at Borg Warner Turbo Systems. She was a cofounder and is currently vice president of the local nonprofit Read to Succeed. She continues to play on an in-line hockey team, and we play on an adult soccer team together. Branch Office Administrator Cindy Johnson is an Asheville native with several years' experience in the financial industry. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
