I began my first financial planning practice in 1994 and my last one in 2010.
Over the years I have been an advisor, sales manager, director, corporate trainer, consultant, etc. There aren't many roles I have not done, but the one I have enjoyed the most is working with small business owners and individuals looking to better themselves financially. I have learned over the years that you have to leverage others since you can't know it all. I have also seen the economy, investments, financial strategies change significantly and become more complex. I left the world of the big, broker/dealers in 2010 due to the limitations they inherently have in place preventing advisors from providing what is in the best interest of the client, all of the time. I do not believe the investments, investment strategies, or traditional model portfolios developed over 50 years ago work as well in today's environment. I broke away from the old system that wasn't working and aligned myself with like-minded advisors working to build a better way to help people and continue to evolve within the current scope of the financial environment. I believe in these 3 core components; 1. Every client is different and there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach, 2. Every client deserves the opportunity to create wealth and leverage the same systems, processes and investment vehicles that were once only available to the ultra-wealthy, and 3. Trust is the foundation of a relationship, I aim to uphold the highest standard of integrity and honesty in everything I do so my clients can confidently rely on me for transparent and ethical financial advice. I, along with my staff, am committed to constant learning and development, staying ahead of industry trends and providing the best possible outcomes for my clients. I guide my clients through the intricacies of wealth management based on their specific financial situation, which will change over time and require modifications as nothing stays the same. This requires regular communications and updates throughout the financial journey and modifying the tools and resources used to build and maintain wealth. There are times to invest, times to hold back, and times in between.
