Out of high school, Jason joined his family's business managing convenience stores in and around Baltimore City. He spent his early 20’s learning business, interpersonal, and financial management skills first-hand through real world experience. After many successful years working with his family, Jason decided to branch out and start a new business. He attended and earned a B.S. in Finance at University of Maryland Global Campus while transitioning into his financial practice with Northwestern Mutual. Today, Jason operates a successful planning practice focusing on the financial needs and goals of those in his community. In addition to his thriving practice, Jason took on the responsibility of Growth and Development Director with Northwestern Mutual -Baltimore, allowing him to utilize the team building and mentoring skills developed during his early career at his family's business. Whether it be small business owners, attorneys, or the hard-working blue-collar workers of Baltimore, Jason Hnat has the expertise and the experience to transform people’s lives through retirement planning.
