Joe Guzman

Joe is originally from Tulsa and graduated from Union High School.

After finishing his football career in college, he attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, where he honed his skills in farm-to-table traditional Italian cuisine while training with a New York-based restaurant group. Later, he spent 17 years working in the wine and spirits industry, living in New York, Florida, and Arizona, working for various leaders in the business, and pursuing his passion for food & wine. From there, he moved back to Tulsa to be with his family and friends and made a career change by joining New York Life. Joe is the oldest of nine children and is the uncle of 37 nieces and nephews. He is also a very proud father of a 13-year-old daughter.
