Martin Petoyan

Martin Petoyan has been helping people make smarter financial decisions since 2011 - but his approach has never been about spreadsheets alone.

It’s about building strategies that actually support the way people want to live. After earning his degree in Managerial Economics from UC Davis and gaining early experience with firms like Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, Martin joined New York Life in 2012. He quickly stood out—finishing #1 in his class and earning multiple company honors early in his career. He later stepped into a leadership role as a Partner, where he trained and developed new advisors, before making a deliberate move back to working directly with clients. Since 2020, he has earned President’s Council recognition five years in a row and qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table, reflecting consistent performance at a high level. Martin has also been recognized by Forbes as one of California’s Top Best-In-State Financial Security Professionals (2022–2024) and is a member of The Nautilus Group®, where he works with advanced planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and business owners. Outside of work, Martin is highly competitive and active playing in multiple basketball leagues, training for Spartan races, and staying grounded through hiking, skiing, cooking, meditation, and reading.
