Mary Capparuccini

I began my career with New York Life in the fall of 2020 and joined Hadley Financial Group in May 2022.

My work centers on helping owners of closely held businesses develop customized insurance and financial strategies to reduce tax burdens and plan for future transitions. I also enjoy partnering with individuals to guide them on their financial journey—empowering them to achieve financial independence and shift from trading time for money to living life more fully. To better serve my clients, I stay actively engaged in my community. I currently serve on the boards of the Burlington Young Professionals, the Heineberg Senior Center, and the Women Business Owners Network. I am an ambassador for BNI as well as a member of Wealth Builders in South Burlington. Additionally, I am a proud graduate of the Leadership Champlain Class of 2024. In 2024, I was honored to qualify for my third year of membership in Million Dollar Round Table* and recognized as a member of New York Life’s Executive Council^ for both 2022 and 2023. A little about me…. Originally from Delaware, I also spent time growing up in Central New York and Vermont. I earned a BA in International Relations and a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University. My experiences abroad—living in France, Israel, Ireland, and Turkey—deepened my global perspective. Prior to my current career, I worked in Washington, DC, in international development and national security. I eventually moved to Vermont for a slower pace and to be closer to my family in Middlebury. Outside of work, I enjoy cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, cooking at home, and playing board games with friends.
