Specialties
Nick Domino is a financial advisor and consultant who works at the intersection of wealth management, retirement planning, and business advisory.
He partners with business owners, professionals, and families to design strategies that integrate investments, insurance, tax-aware planning, and employer retirement plans into a coordinated financial structure rather than a collection of separate decisions. Nick is the third generation in a family of financial planning professionals, which has given him a rare longitudinal perspective on how financial decisions play out over decades. Through both his own work and his family’s practice, he has had the opportunity to see clients across the full life cycle — from early career planning to business growth, retirement transitions, and multi-generational estate and legacy planning. As a result, he has worked first-hand with clients of many ages, financial situations, and major life events, shaping his practical, planning-first approach. In his advisory work, Nick focuses heavily on closely held businesses and high-responsibility professionals, including attorneys, real estate brokers, healthcare professionals, and founders. His practice frequently involves advanced planning strategies such as qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, executive benefit structures, corporate-owned life insurance, estate and legacy planning, and risk management design. He also advises companies on 401(k) plan structure, fiduciary considerations, and benefit plan optimization. In addition to his advisory practice, Nick serves as a consultant on financial and operational diligence engagements, where he works with management teams and senior leadership to analyze cost structures, operational processes, and financial reporting frameworks. This background informs his approach to advising clients — he evaluates personal finances the same way he evaluates a business: as a system that should be engineered, not improvised. Nick’s philosophy is that good financial planning is not primarily about picking investments. Instead, it is about coordinating decisions across taxes, cash flow, protection, retirement, and long-term legacy so clients can make confident choices about their careers, families, and businesses. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and children.
