Ray Prospero, JD, ChFC®, CKA® is a Partner Advisor with AdvicePeriod.
Ray helps clients develop realistic financial goals, designing wealth management strategies to help preserve their wealth for future generations. He focuses primarily on key elements of the wealth management process and the fundamentals of estate and retirement planning strategies. Ray launched his financial services career when he joined Merrill Lynch in 2010 after a legal career, where he was admitted to the U.S. Tax Court. While at Merrill Lynch, Ray was a Senior Vice President. He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of La Verne College of Law and earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation from The American College of Financial Services. Ray also earned the Certified Kingdom Advisor® (CKA®) designation, which equips financial professionals to integrate biblical principles with financial planning. This designation reflects a commitment to stewardship and delivering comprehensive advice that aligns with clients’ values and faith. Giving back to the community is important to Ray. He is active in Circle City Rotary and is on the Board of Directors for LifeStream Blood Bank, as well as the Board of Elders for Crossroads Christian Church and School. Ray was formerly on the Board of Visitors for California Baptist University and the Board of Trustees for Vitalant, one of the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit transfusion medicine organizations, providing blood services to almost 1,000 hospitals across 40 states. In his free time, Ray stays active with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, golfing, hiking and spending time with his wife, Amy, and their four children.
