He previously worked for 3 years as an Agent at large financial services firm. Ruben has a Doctorate’s degree in Business Administration and Finances from Argosy University and a Master’s degree in Business and Technology Administration from National University. Ruben is currently studying at the American College of Financial Services, working toward the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designation. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Ruben will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. Active in his community, Ruben is Vice Chair for Area 6 of Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and he was awarded Volunteer of the Year at the Armed Services YMCA. In his free time, Ruben enjoys reading, spending time with family, and traveling. First Command Financial Services was founded in 1958 by a retired Air Force officer for the specific purpose of improving the financial well-being of military professionals and their families. Today, more than 500 First Command Financial Advisors across the country and abroad, many of whom also served, are committed to the company’s Mission of “Coaching those who serve in their pursuit of financial security.”
