As the owner of The Keeton Group LLC, Wes serves dual roles: providing customized financial strategies for affluent individuals and small business owners, while also coaching agents in implementing these specialized solutions. Wes is currently an Ameritas General Agent. He is also part of several committees including Life Task Force, Annuity Task Force, Service & Technology and Whole Life Insurance Study Group. Wes’ expertise in solving complex underwriting and case design issues related to life insurance and disability has made him an invaluable resource for both clients and colleagues. Additionally, as a certified Infinite Banking Practitioner, he helps clients leverage whole life insurance as a powerful financial tool beyond traditional death benefit protection. Prior to forming The Keeton Group, Wes served in prestigious roles as a Sales Manager and Investment Specialist with industry leaders Prudential and MetLife, where he also gained valuable experience in Advanced Markets functions. This diverse background allows him to approach client situations with a comprehensive understanding of both protection and wealth-building strategies. A native Texan and University of Texas at Austin graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Wes brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to solving problems and creating better outcomes for his clients. He currently resides in East Dallas with his wife Tracy, their daughter, Emerson, who is currently pursuing her education at the University of Arkansas, and their Mini Bernedoodle, Jet. When not designing customized financial solutions, Wes enjoys cycling, cooking, fixing things around the house, cheering on college football, and spending quality time with friends and family.
